How to send back the response to the client from CDC

Hi Experts,

we have a use case where we connect our front end web app to CDC and we are able to register the user by using the lite registration screen set and once the user enters the right credentials how to do make the user navigate to home page and create a session for that user,

Currently I am create cookie and session and local storage items using the function

is this the right way to do it?
and also once the user logs in with right credentials I want to send the data of the user which is present in my CDC like UID for any custom or standard schema objects and

is there any standard way to handle users session? like inbuilt function
