how to save Lead and Opportunity Status per month to see historical data

Hello Experts,

I want to store that Status of open Opportunities and Leads every last day of the month to see at the end of the year how many open L & O`s had been in the Pipeline.

Can you Support how to create such reports where I can freeze the Status from the past?

Hello Nicole,

I think the data sources "Lead History" and "Opportunity History" are suitable for this scenario. These 2 data sources show the lead / opportunity, the status, and the validity timestamp (date + time). So for example, "Opportunity History" would show the opportunity 12345, status "Open" from date X to date Y, status "Won" from date Y till now etc.
