How to release a Marketing Plan and see the real expenses?

Hi experts

I have a question about the marketing plans.

The state of the plan at what time it changes from in process to released, I can't find that step.

And the actual expenses, in which part of the process are they reflected or visualized?

at the end of the created plan, for example if the plan is annual, end the year?

You can see a report where you can see how much is being spent and remaining.

Hello Elio,

If you are executing Facebook campaigns or other externally executed campaigns, the actual spend can include or exclude the related ad serving cost depending on your configuration. For more information, see Actual Spend and Ad Serving Cost.

Use the Manage Your Solution app, then Configure Your Solution -> Marketing Planning -> Define Settings for Actual Spend and AD Serving Cost.

When the actual expenses will be uploaded in the system, you should be able to see it under the campaign spend tab.

I have been reviewing the documentation related to the actual expenses, I understand that they are loaded by CSV files, or I think also by means of an ODATA integration?

I do not currently have an integration with the ERP or S4 to send or bring information of the plans.

But, my doubt uploading CSV files is that it is a manual task, I can understand this when it is a campaign with external advertising expenses.

But, how would it be the case in a campaign scenario to Google ADS or Facebook, would the user have to see how much he spent on those media and then dump it in the CSV file and upload it to MKT?

The actual spend need to be uploaded in the system. check the following documentation https://help.sap.com/viewer/b88f770e4b7c4ecead5477e7a6c7b8f7/2105.500/en-US/c051f5d923574475b41920f8... especially the section Actual Spend and Committed Spend this will give you information on how you can update the actual spend KPI.
