Hello everyone,
we are using S/4HANA Service Release 2023 FP 02 Private Cloud and use advanced shipment logistics scenario (item type - SRVV). In standard configuration it is not possible to maintain a sales order created from service order via e.g. VA02. It is necessary to maintain changes in service order which get updated to related sales order.
However it is common practice to customize delivery blocks on sales orders based on business partner customer status settings. Now it is not possible for us to manually release the sales order dlivery block on header. We can only manipulate the delivery block on item level which is not sufficient.
We have tried adding new fields for delivery block on shipping view of service order header but it didn't solve our issue. Even Sales Order Fiori Apps aren't able to release the delivery block with well known error message V4 310.
Do you have any ideas what is recommended in standard? It seems like a soft lock o us in the current environment.
Maybe @Silvia_Ventura knows a solution?

Hello!!
I don't know much about SD...Honestly, I'd customize the message V4 310 as warning and would modify the sales order
Take a look at the KBA
Best regards

Hi Silvia,
thanks a lot for your quick answer! We have considered that but the risk is very high that key users maintain new spare parts in sales order instead of service order. Therefore, these spare parts are not replicated to service order. In the case of Advanced Shipment via SRVV it wouldn't be possible to create a follow-up service confirmation for those spare parts.
It seems like the Standard Integration of Advanced Shipment is not sufficient at the moment regarding Delivery Blocks or Desired Delivery Date manipulation.
We will have a look at it though. We were just wondering what is the best practices to keep both documents in sync.
Thank you!
