How to reduce size of image while uploading in c4c?

Hi All,

I have created a pdf with Image field using live cycle designer. I have selected "Sizing: Image Scale proportionally".

Now the problem is the when we used to upload an image it is of 5-7 MB. and due to the image size , performance is very low and not able to generate PDF .we have to upload approx 40-50 images.

so if people keep uploading high resolution images in the system through action button then the pdf becomes more then 150 MB, it becomes slow and unable to generate the PDF.

Is there any way by which even if I upload a 5 -7 MB image the it should automatically reduce image size?

As the users does not bother to reduce the size of image they just upload high resolution and large size image in pdf.

Please tell me the way through which i can reduce the image size automatically while uploading or after uploading?

Hi Priya Sinha,

this is a common problem when you have very high resolution images. Better to use some third party apps like image resizer, Compress image size in KB apps etc & reduce the size before uploading.
