We have a requirement to record where & when contact details have been collected. We need to be able to report on this information. This is for SAP C4C.
Does anybody currently do this or have any idea how to do it?

Hi Param,
If you create extension fields in an object, in your case the contact - the field is added to the Contact - General Information.
When you create a workflow rule: Administrator - Workflow Rule, you select in the first step the Business Object = Contact. In the second step you can set up some conditions - when you define a condition you will see that when clicking the field drop down list, your extension field is in now. When you create a workflow rule of the type field update - when clicking the field list, also here you will see your extension field.

You can use extension fields with different values if the standard fields are not sufficient. 'Where', might be an event etc. 'When' is the related to the Created On field, date but again you can define an extension field of the type date so that users can enter the exact date. Make sure you select the data sources when creating this fields for your reports.
