How to pass billing document number to complaint's screen when creating a complaint in CRM.

In the CRM when I search for a delivery ID I get the billing document number from ECC in CRM. (View: BT120H_CPL)

I select a line item number and create a complaint. On the create complaint screen. I have an assignment block for billing document but it doesn't have any data.

I would like to know how can I pass the value of billing document form the search result screen to this complaint screen. I can call a function module that can fetch value from ECC but I do not wish to make a RFC call as we already have the value on the BOL.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Divyansh,


if I understand you correctly you create a CRM Complaint document with reference to a ECC invoice.

Cause the ECC Invoice is a predecessor document it should appear in the "Transaction History" of the CRM Complaint after saving the complaint. In the Billing Assignment Block of the CRM Complaint you see the billing relevant data for the CRM Complaint in case you bill the CRM Complaint document (if the CRM Compaint is billing relevant at all). The referenced object should be visible in the Transation History (former term Document flow).
