Dear,
We are transporting our validated mail templates from test to production.
We have used reusable blocks in our templates.
When we export our template; and import it into production; there are error messages "cannot find reusable block number 158"
I checked the documentation:
but it doesn't help me out.
You can Export a reusable block as well,
But you cannot seem to import them...
If I manually re-create my reusable block in production; it has a different ID e.g. 16.
Then when uploading the template it's still the error "cannot find reusable block number 158".
So my question is: HOW can I move my mail templates from test to prod??
Kind regards,
Joyca

Hi Joyca,
The link you shared states that "You cannot create a new reusable block by uploading it." which is what you are trying to do. If you are trying to create a new reusable block in Production system by uploading a template, it will not work as per the documentation. I believe you will have to manually re-create the block in productive system again and re-use it. As for the email template using the block, you can upload them but make sure you change the reference to the new re-usable block id and not the old one from your test system.
The block id can be found and modified ->"When uploading HTML files to emails or when creating emails, the system identifies reusable blocks using the downloaded block ID (Reference-Message-Id)."
I am not sure if there is any standard transport mechanism to move them from test to production system other than download & upload.
Thanks
Vineet
