How to migrate/import large attachments into C4C?

Hello all,

We are migrating legacy service requests (tickets) into C4C. These have large attachments (up to 200 MB). Data workbench currently supports files only up to 10 MB.

Have any of you tried anything else to load such attachments?

thanks

Mahesh

Hello Mahesh,

The C4C has a constraint for size limit of attachments. We always recommend the usage of the attachments section of the business objects to store simple files (such as small images and some document files). For larger attachments, it is highly recommended to use an external storage system and store the respective URL in C4C.

The storage constraints of the system are covered in the following KBA:

2562017 - Size Limit For Attachments In C4C

Kind regards,

Leonardo

Thanks Leonardo. I have seen this note already before posting this and was wondering if any customers did any other creative thing.
