How to manage log views and Backoffice permissions in SAP Commerce Cloud

I need assistance with configuring access permissions. Here are my requirements:

  • I would like to give access to logs view only.
  • I would to manage Backoffice permissions.
  • I would like to disable builds and deployments from an user access.

Can I have proper documentation for that? Thanks.

I understand you're looking to give access to view only Logs for Production. To do this, you should use the CUSTOMER_LOG_VIEWER. This role allows access to logs including the OpenSearch View for Environments, however, it doesn't provide access to Dynatrace application performance monitoring.
Regarding the builds and deployment request, if the user doesn't have the CUSTOMER_DEVELOPER role in Cloud Portal, it cannot trigger that.

Additionally, as mentioned in the Backoffice Visibility Controls documentation, an admin user can limit the visibility of Backoffice features and functions to employee users and user groups. You can find more information about Backoffice permissions in the Permissions in The Backoffice Framework documentation.
