How to integrate C4C with SAP Analytics Cloud

Hello

I am working with a colleague on a Cloud Analytics Solution that will present data from various sources onto a single dashboard solution. As part of this project, we require support activity related data - which is sourced on the team's C4C instance.

My question is: How is it possible to connect C4C to SAC?

On SAC, there is an existing integration scenario option:

Selecting this brings up the following options:

What Authentication type is correct here?

What User Name and Password should be used? Should an account be created only for the purpose of connection?

I am the Admin of the C4C platform so I have access to all areas. However, I don't know where to start re. this requirement. Is there a step by step guide for this available anywhere?

Hi @Leslie Finan, i just tried the guidance in SAP Help, but the URL sample seems incorrect because there is "byd" parameter in it.. Therefore i tried to correct the URL like this: https://myxxxxxx.crm.ondemand.com/sap/c4c/odata/ana_businessanalytics_analytics.svc

The connection is exist now in my SAC env. Can you try it?

Hi tammy.powlas3 and lessip, thank you for this information. However, I am running into an issue when applying the advice contained in the links. I have tried to set up an account on my C4C instance specifically for the use of SAC's Basic Authentication. This account has an Administrator Role.

When the admin of the SAC enters the credentials of this account and chooses the correct criteria to create the link, he faces the following error:

I have verified the details but the error persists. is there anything else I may be missing / can you spot something that has been entered incorrectly?

The document includes a chapter on Integration with SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly BusinessObjects Cloud). I think this discribes, what you are looking for.
