How to install USB Printer Epson TM-T88III as JAVAPOS Printer for Customer Checkout

Dear Community,

we have SBO 10.0 PL2 on MS SQL. We have SAP Customer Checkout 2 SP9. We used in B1I the scenarios 4.0.17.
The connections between SAP Business One, B1I and Customer Checkout are working fine.

Now we tried to install the USB printer "Epson TM-T88III". We used the 1.14.14W JavaPos Driver on Oracle Java 1.8.1.
The Health Check of the printer connection don't work.

We also get the error message Port Name invalid.

We used the guide "SAP Customer Checkout -Hardware Installation for Epson TM-88V".

How can we solve this?

Kind Regards

Please check if the printer is installed as a windows printer, if yes, remove this windows printer. also uninstall any other epson drivers from the system.

Did you use the JAVAPOS driver or the EPSON jdk? I advise to use EPSON_JavaPOS_ADK_11414_x64

Besides that, if the epson health check does not work, check the java installation in general, there probably is some mix up between the java versions (32bit/64bit).

And a last bit of advice, read the official instructions again and start all over from scratch, uninstall and delete everything from epson from your system and really follow it step by step.

Or, buy a star micronics printer 😉

Hello Martina

Maybe you try and switch to FOP instead to JPOS.
