How to disable sales unit in opportunity?

Hi C4C expert,

Would you please help?

We try not to use sales unit in opportunity. (But, we continue to use sales organization.)

Would you please help what configuration needs to be changed to disable it?

Hi Joseph,

When you check in Business Configuration: Opportunities - Involved Parties, you will see that the Sales Unit is a mandatory party role that can not be removed from the list.

What you can do, is change the determination and select the option Account's Sales Data. It is to be expected that the Sales Organisation set in the account sales data, is set in the transaction in stead of e.g. the organizational unit of the employee. Prerequisite is of course the sales data needs to be maintained.r.
