How to disable Online catalog version in SmartEdit for employees.

Hi ,

How can i restrict employees to access online catalog version in smartedit(Need to display only Staged catalog version), currently both the catalog version are available for the users.

By default, every SmartEdit user has read permission to the online version, without needing to configure any explicit permissions. This is to reflect that every user/customer can view the published contents of a site.

Read permission on the online version only permits users to view the storefront. Why would you want to disable that?

The catalog version it self has users and usergroups assigned that can read and write to these. Remove the ones that you don't want to be able to access this from the online version.

Hi Marko, I have those usergroup not assigned to online version but still i am able to see in smartedit landing page.

Yes they dont belong to multiple groups.
