How to customise RegistrationValidator in acceleratorstorefrontcommons

Hi, I would like to know the best way to override the hardcoded minimum password length that is in de.hybris.platform.acceleratorstorefrontcommons.forms.validation.RegistrationValidator . I have already seen https://answers.sap.com/questions/12754068/how-to-customise-registrationvalidator-in-accelera.html but the reply there is not helpful, since RegistrationValidator is a validator for POJOs coming from a form, and the custom validation constraints mentioned in the reply are to validate hybris models.

2. In your controller's doRegister, call validate on an instance of CustomRegistrationValidator
