Hello,
we try to create a field rule in Fiori Client by adaption mode. But unfortunately we cannot create a rule, we only can choose an existing rule.
Screenshot 1: Select "Rule" in the Point "Set as visible"

Screenshot 2: There will be no Option to create a rule

As in the update 1908 the rule editor will be a beta feature. Does SAP forget it in 1911 while the HTML5 will be not available anymore? Have anyone an idea how to create a field rule in Firoi Client?
Thank you so much,
Patrick

Hi Patrick Albarus,
Follow the Steps as mentioned below(https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/public/en/2858436.)
1.Select any element in the main screen and then select the parent element until you reach the “UI Component” element (topmost element).
2. From there drill down to “Implementation” and “Rules and Validations

Hello deborah.albrecht2,
Hope this helps you.
1.If u want to activate /deactivate the existing Validation Rules, then select the Validations in " Rules and Validations". There you can activate/Deactivate the the Validations Rules.
Screen Print 1:

2. If you want to create a new validations Rule,
a. create a rule, path: Add-->Rule-->Write the Logic and apply .
b.Click on Add icon and select " Validations" in Rule and Validation Screen. Fill the Validation Name, description, Message Severity,..Message and select the Rule(created in a step) and click on apply.

Hi deborah.albrecht2 As Bharath Suggested , follow those steps and it works.
In order to reaco to Rules and Validation , you need to go to Implementation of that view. *( i think its the only point missing in bharath's answer ).
Just Got to any view area in adopation and hit on back until you see the implementation and then go in the implemantion and click on rules and validations.
Thank you guys for the fast help 🙂
