How to change the status of a marketing program manually?

Dear SAP,

I SAP help portal you can find various informations about the work with marketing programs. Today I´m interested to change the status of allready existing progams. In help portal it sais, that if no workflow is in use a user can change the status of programs easily. Now I tried to change the status, but I don´t find any opportunity to do this. No workflow for approval of programs is in use.

Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance.

To be able to release a program, a user should have the business catalog SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_APV1_PC assigned.

Hi Lukas,

in Programs app you should be able to "Release" a program if it is still "In Revision".

After that if it is released you could click "Revise" again to set it back to "In Revision" or you could close it.

thanks again for your quick reply. Unfortunately I can´t see the Buttons "Release", "Revise" and "Close" in a particular program.

Do I have to have a special business role (or catalogue) assigned to my user to change the status of programs?

yes, I would assume that it has something to do with your role. Do you have any restrictions? Are you using standard roles? Which roles do you have assigned to your user? Maybe I could reproduce the behavior.
