How to build a promotion that is "Spend $X on a specific brand and receive $Y off"

Thanks for taking the time to help with my question... My company is new to Commerce and we are trying to build out a promotion to test when we launch our ecommerce. My company sells grocery products. We are trying to make a promotion that gives customers $3 off when they spend $15 on any of a specific brands products. Any advice on how to build out this promotion?

That requirement would need customisation.

However, out of the box you can place those specific brand products in a certain category. In your rule condition you add a category condition specifying that brand category.

I wish SAP would add a condition so you can select any attribute from your product data model. It would allow so much more flexibility in the rule engine.
