Hi,
I want to assign a standard data source (_SAP_CF_CE_CONTACT_IA_ERP_CUST) to a standard segmentation object (SAP_CE_INTERACTION_CONTACT).
The "Add" button is greyed out and mentions "Use the extensibitlity apps to add data sources to this segmentation object".
However, there seems to be no extensibility app that allows to add a standard data source, only to add custom fields/cbo/views...
So, how can this be done?
Background info: why do I need this? (maybe there are other ways to achieve this than adding the standard data source to the standard object...)
On SAP_CE_INTERACTION_CONTACT (All Accounts and Contacts) the data population is, as it sais, all the accounts AND all the contacts.
So the population is 1.000 accounts and contacts, of which 500 accounts and 500 contacts.
I want all contacts which belong to an account with classification AA, plus all the accounts with classification AA that don't have any contacts.
There are custom fields on accounts. Those fields can be added to segmentation, no problem.
But if you USE that field in segmentation, you get all the accounts with that value of that custom field. So you get e.g. 100 accounts that have classification AA. But you cannot get the contacts which belong to those accounts.
Data Source _SAP_CF_CE_CONTACT_IA_ERP_CUST which is used in the "all contacts" profile, has a distinction on the custom fields, ACC_YY1_CLASSIFICATION_MCP, while the default datasource _SAP_CF_IA_CONTACT of the "accounts and contacts" profile does not have that ACC_ prefix, making those fields not contact-account-dependent.

Hi Joyca,
have you already checked that KBA: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2898952
So I think you can open an incident for CEC-MKT-SEG, SAP will check your specific case and can assign the Data Source to your Segmentation Object (if there are no functional or performance issues to be expected).
Maybe that helps.
