How to all contacts , activities, opportunities information from old account to new account in C4C

Dear Team,

I need to copy all contacts , activities, opportunities information from old account to new account as there are many opportunity and activity In SAP C4C.

What is the best way to do this requirement. Please guide me on it.

Hi Madhuri,

The ideal way to go is as Matthias Pfandler has suggested. That would take care of moving everything from old to new. The only caveat is that its driven by accounts/ contacts. So if you want to copy transactions whose accounts/ contacts are not needed to to merged, then for those you could use the DWB as Matthias suggested.

Another downside with the Merge functionality, is that it will not do anything for data and transactions that reside outside of C4C. i.e. if you have integrations with ECC. If you have an integration with CRM/ S4 it might as the data models are similar but I haven't got that far yet so I can't say for sure.

If you have integrations with ECC then you might want to go the DWB route as that would replicate the relevant data to the external systems as needed.
