How to add items in the left pane of the Report Cockpit?

I want to make the left pane of the report cockpit as menu of my reports. But, I don't know how this part of the page works or how I can customize it.

Hi - I would not recommend to do it at this point in time unless your client decides to continue with reportcockpit. The reportcockpit has been deprecated and it will be de-released in a couple of months. Therefore, it will be difficult to get support for any issues.

Nevertheless, you can customize the reportcockpit using the cockpit framework in the same way, you may have customized other cockpits.

Backoffice Framework is the replacement for all those cockpits right? Does this mean that it may contain the same functionality as the report cockpit? And is the report cockpit be removed from those later versions? What happens to my cockpit whenever I will upgrade hybris version to the latest?

If you look at 1808 Deprecation Status - https://help.hybris.com/1808/hcd/8bb15ed586691014a948d1553f4947cf.html - it says reportcockpit will be dereleased by 2019 Q1. But right now, there is no backoffice equivalent yet (AFAIK). So, as long as there is no replacement, assume that reportcockpit can still be used, even if it's deprecated.

HI Thank you for this information. Are they removing the report cockpit? or it is staying in the 6.4 version?

It has been deprecated since version 6.6 ( https://help.hybris.com/6.6.0/hcd/8bb15ed586691014a948d1553f4947cf.html ). However, it is important to note that SAP (Hybris) will not provide any support for version 6.4 after August 30, 2019 ( https://help.hybris.com/6.6.0/hcd/1c6c687ad0ed4964bb43d409818d23a2.html )
