Hola Experts

One question, once you have all the configuration, transports and manual activities in PRD ready, is it enough to start activity in Productive or is it necessary to send an incident to SAP?

Best regards

Hi eliocentenob,

Yes, you can proceed to use the system productively.

The incident created under XX-S4C-OPR-SRV is to monitor and check if everything is working fine after Production system is live. Without an incident, we'll not be able to login to system and update you if there's anything.

Hence, I recommend you to report incident after Prod Live.

I hope this is helpful. Thank you.

Hi Elio,

not sure what SAP in detail will do if you open an incident. I don't know if they "proceed accordingly".

In principle you should be able to use your system productively, but if it's still suggested in the guide I think it wouldn't hurt to open such an incident.

Maybe someone of SAP can clarify what are the steps done by SAP after that incident has been opened.
