How not to alllow adding product line in Opportunity if a user don't enter product ID?

Hi C4C Expert,

We need not to allow a user to add product line in 'Products' tab of Opportunity if they don't select product ID.

Would you please help how to achieve it through the configuration change?

You can set it as Mandatory in the screen were you can add the products.
My guess is that you are trying to do that in the screen/table were you can see all the already added products, so it's a bit late in the process.

Simply go to adaptation mode, click on add button, and once the screen for adding product appears you can define "product" field as mandatory.
