SAP Commerce Cloud has introduced Single Sign-On (SSO) for its Solr catalogs, which is now causing our API calls to be redirected to the SSO login, resulting in a 303 error.
How do we use Oauth to call SOLR externally with SSO enabled?

Request clarification before answering.
One can't use Oauth to connect to solr, as basic authentication to solr isn't supported. One cannot enable nor customize it in the security.json file. If one does, one will face deployment errors.
