How do I replace storefront extension project.properties with my custom extension properties file?

Simply override the values for properties of storefront extension project.properties in local.properties. That's it.

local.properties has the highest priority.

I'm familiar with such approach. I thought there was something particular for storefront-addon part of Hybris.
