How do I add/expose fields to dashboard views to view and edit?

Hello all,

I am on version 2111.03.0002 using SAP Service Cloud and SAP Sales Cloud.

I wasn't able to find this by searching around, so I'm hoping you all can help...

I'm writing an integration app that will push data using odata c4codataapi. I have a Service -> Ticket and Customer -> Account related to this ticket object. I was able to figure out how to add emails to this customer/account object through OData api. However, I see no way to add this email field to the ticket dashboard section for customer info. I also see no way for me to edit this email through the ui in the Customer -> Accounts main view. I can edit it through OData api but it seems weird to me that I can't find it somewhere in the ui. If users need to change this, I'm not sure how they would go about it if they cannot do it through the ui.

My use case is having the Account object have a specific email address, and contacts can still have different email addresses. This seems possible through OData and I have tested this flow, but I'd like to be able to see this on the ui as well.

Thank you in advance.

Account in question has the email and phone below.

Ticket dashboard: Missing the email in the contact section

Account edit: Missing the email field here to edit.
