How can we import templates/pages from content catalog to another?

Hello Hybris Experts,

We have a special need. We are creating a version 2 of our current site, which has a new content catalog. Any recommendation for how we can port templates/pages to this new content catalog from the current content catalog in an easy way?

CMS pages are linked to templates, many component instances, and media files. Will these will be duplicated when we port template/pages to the new content catalog?

Any help will be highly appreciated!

You have mentioned that the new site has a new content catalog i.e. the new site will not use the current content catalog. In that case, you should export the current content catalog and import it into the new content catalog. The Hybris data model supports using multiple content catalog for one site but the solution is complex and you will face challenges. So, it's better to clone the existing content catalog.
