Hi, could someone please provide high overview of what technology/steps/guides to use if I have existing SAP marketing sitting on Prem at customer with newly acquired cloud based commerce? How much more complex is such solution in comparison to for example just buying/migrating the Marketing to cloud as well to have cloud to cloud integration?
Thanks,
Jakub.

Hi Jakub,
which version of SAP Marketing on-prem are you using?
Frankly speaking I would say for long term consideration it makes more sense and will save time and effort to move Marketing to Cloud. I'm thinking about the quarterly new release cycles with new features and functions, the standard iFlows using CPI for the integration of Commerce Cloud and Marketing Cloud and so on.
But of course it depends on the individual requirements of the customer if it is possible to use SAP Marketing Cloud (concerning Extensibility).
I think the best starting point is to use the integration guide for SAP Marketing and the one for SAP Commerce
Concerning clickstream integration I think it should be possible to use direct integration via OData.
Customer replication can be done from CRM and/or Commerce, depending on your needs, same for transactional data.
What do you mean with the third point Customer Segmentation? The segmentation itself does not really differ from on-prem to cloud.
