Hi experts,
is it possible to hide the whole question / section in the C4C survey, if in a previous question a certain answer was made?
I had a look at the survey options in our test system and just found the option for multiple choice questions to add a source question. There I then can define if a certain answer chosen in the source question, then the answer option in this question are reduced.
My requirement would be to hide hide the whole question, if in a previous question answer A was chosen.
Is this possible (for different question types: text, multiple choice, matrix)? How to do it?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Deborah

Hi Deborah,
I just mentioned the main question as an example. And the sections are also not concerned, although you can branch to them. You can also branches from answer option to a particular question. If you do not branch, the next question in order is presented. By the way you can also define that if a question is not answers you can branch 'some where'. The [Branch To] option is displayed on [Answer Option] level. See enclosed print screen.
By the way, the way you can branch and the way the option is displayed in your screen, migth differ a bit per survey category and question type.

Hi Deborah,
In the answer(s) of your main question you enter in the [Branch to] field where you want to go.
This can be a particular question or this can be a particular section that has already been defined in your survey.
As soon as you define the branching, you will see when you simulate that the questions are no longer displayed in one long list, but that a [previous] and [next] button appear.

Hi MJ,
ok, understood. But I have not the opportunity to ask one main question: Is section A, B and/or C concerned?
And depending on the answers marked (multiple choice with multiple answers allowed) I will branch to the section A, B or C.
Therefore, I probably need to ask in 3 questions: Is section A concerned? Yes, then branch to section A. Is section B concerned? etc. ...
I am missing the function to branch to different questions depending on the chosen answer. Or am I wrong?
Thanks,
Deborah
Hi Deborah,
You can use the branch to functionality. So in your example if in question 1 answer A was chosen you can decide that the user branches to question 3 and not to the next question e.g. 2.
I once set up one large questionnaire (+ 40 questions), but each customer only saw max. 10 questions as all questions he/she saw were depended on the given (previous) answers.
In the answer of the question you will see the Branche to colomn. May be first set up all questions and answers and then determine the logic. For sure it works for the multiple choice questions for the other question types you have to check and test.
