My Requirement is to synchronise Emails from MS Outlook into Solution Manager.
I am now trying to configure ERMS in Solution Manager for ITSM, where we want the core behaviour of Service Desk of Sending Emails to create a ticket in the system. For this we will have to receive the Emails into Solution Manager through some interface which might be a Groupware software, Desktop Connection for CRM etc. I am using Desktop Connections for CRM and configuring it, but facing an issue while synchronising the emails from the MS Outlook to Solution Manager.
The error I am getting is "Error code: 1
Message: Message: Importance ID 5 is not allowed (Code: '/CRMGWS/DATA_PROVIDE/008')"
Can someone help me out in this issue or at least recommend any easier options to achieve this email synchronisation?

I don't think that using the Desktop Connection to receive E-Mails in Solution Manager is the way to got. You should configure Solution Manager to allow incoming/outbound E-Mails via SMTP using transaction SCOT and SMICM. You will need to talk to the Exchange Server Admins to get this working correctly.
