Hana view creation from Business Application Studio- SMC Standard views are not available

Hi Experts,

I am creating New Hana calculation view using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) for SAP Marketing Cloud (SMC) segmentation.

I have exported all tables, views and definitions from SMC Add Custom Views app

In BAS I have imported and database instance service is running and bound to database

In the HDI container I can able to select standard tables and custom tables in projection but I am unable to find standard views like CA_D_PRODUCT_CATEGORY

the find data source search option returns no data

But I can able to see the views in the project

I don't know why I couldn't see the SAP Standard views even though I export all objects (tables and views ) from SMC and deploy it in BAS. Please could you help me what is wrong.

Hi Arvinthkumar,

unfortunately, the export from SMC does only contain the views that you could already see in your BAS project.

To access these views in your custom view, you need the deploy them. Before you can do this, you have to launch/ deploy the hdb synonym like it is described in this guide.

Thanks for the reply. I have deployed the hdb synonym as per blog but still i am unable to find the sap standard views in the projection to add.
