We have turned on Guided Selling on our tenant and created different playbooks to be assigned to opportunities using rules.
Our experience has been that the activities in the playbook are assigned and enforced in the opportunity only if we access the opportunity using the Guided Selling menu option.
If we access the opportunity using the standard opportunity menu option in Sales Workcenter or drilling down to standard opportunity maintenance from Guided Selling option, the activities in the playbook are bypassed, allowing the user to complete the opportunity without them.
Does anyone know if this is the way Guided Selling Functionality was designed?
Or Are we missing configuration settings that will enforce the use of the playbook even if we access the opportunity in the standard menu option?
Any information provided will be highly appreciated as we want to roll out this functionality to all users but want to ensure functionality work in all scenarios.
