Globe icon on backoffice

Hi, What is the globe icon on logging in to backoffice that we see on the top right side beside synchronization status for? On clicking we see set of languages which can be unchecked, and they get checked again once the user logs back in.

Can someone tell what is the relevance of this icon? Also can we disable it from any css file?

Hi - Using this icon, you can select which language(s) you would like to see in the localization e.g. in the given screenshot, I have unchecked all but English & Chinese and therefore I can see only English & Chinese in the available languages while editing a localized data (e.g. product description).

Also can we disable it from any css file?
