Gigya Profile import - supported password hashing algorithm

Hi,

I would like to import profiles with the old password hash using the Identity Sync from legacy systems.

The online documentation (https://developers.gigya.com/display/GD/Account+REST) does not provide any details on the supported algorithms and the values we can set for the algorithm field.

Can you share this information?

The link Raas Import Guide is broken (RaaS Import Guide) could you provide an updated link?

Thank you

Yves C.

Hi ychtepenko currently this documentation is being worked on. I'd recommend reaching out to our Support team or the SAP Project team working on this account.

Hi Yves,

This is an activity you should align with your SAP CDC Consultant as this is not a straight forward activity hence great care needs to be taken when doing the password transition from legacy to CDC. Also the key's actually depend on the source in your case Hybris. CDC needs to map the existing encryption method what is in Hybris.

Thanks

Hi ychtepenko some of the supported formats for password encryption are

md5, bcrypt, sha1, sha256, and pbkdf2,

Hi Vineet,

thank you for this information.

I need to migrate accounts from Hybris, do you know which value to use?
