Getting attribute not found even after System update

Hi Experts,

Added a new attribute in items.xml, performed ant clean all followed by System update(checked Update Running System option). Then I could see new attribute in HMC->System->Types, but on shop I am getting "Attribute not found" error.

I am facing this issue on Hybris v5.5 and 5.6.

If I understand problem correctly, then you ran the system update by just checking Update Running System

Which means that the HMC configurations reload was not taken into consideration with System update, hence the issues occured. If you run the System Update by additionally checking the Clear the hMC configuration from the database it should work. Or you can reload HMC configurations from HMC itself.

You are correct, I always select Update running system option alone. WIll try your solution when I face this issue again. Thanks alot.

Hi ,

please make sure your attribute defined with lower case in the *items.xml.

Usually it should appear. If not do clear the cache. If you have done hmc configuration then as Amit mentioned select Clear the hMC configuration from the database
