Dear experts,
as a requirement, we want to generate a visit summary for perfect store visits.
However, as stated in https://userapps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/2769048, the "Generate summary" action is not available for perfect store visits. A mentioned influence submission of this KBA did not seem to deliver a result, so I am trying it here.
Is there a way to generate the standard visit summary (which is used for non-perfect-store visits) in perfect store visits? Can we somehow retrieve the form template codes to trigger this via PDI, similar as described here?
We know of the option to build and use a Custom BO and create a custom form template, but this seems to be a waste of time and resources as the standard template would be perfectly fine for us.
Best regards
Niklas

Hi Niklas,
With whom would you like to share the summary?
I you cannot directly from the visit create a summary, i would suggest the following work around; You create a workflow with rule type Email and add the PDF form template C0005 - Visit Summary as an email attachment.
Based on conditions for example visit type and status you can sent the mail with the summary attachment to for example the owner (sales rep). So, every time conditions are met the summary is sent to the employee responsible.

Hi Marie,
that is a good idea! I have already tested it and it works out just fine.
We did not actually plan to send out the visit summary (or not yet at least). However, since we can generate the PDF also in the Sales Cloud by ticking "create E-Mail Activity", we are able to attach the PDF to our Visit or Customer via PDI.
Thank you very much!
Best regards
Niklas
