Filter article search

Hello

Is there a possibility to have an default filter in article and customer search screen in Quickservice? Having a big number of inactive articles and customers, these inactive ones should simply not show up by default. Maybe someone sees a possibility how to implement this by plugin?

Best Regards

Klaus

Hello Klaus,

I think if it is a feature which would be frequently used and would make article searching a little easier, I would suggest to create an improvement request on our influence channel https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/1731. It appears to be a feature many customers would like to have so I believe this could be the best route to implementing this feature.

Kind regards,

Kellieanne

Hello kellieanne.mckeon

Thank you for your answer. But this is not practicable - too many steps (1. Go To Advanced Search, 2. Select +, 3. Select active, 4. Select +, 5. Select Description, 6. type in search text). Think about having around 40K articles in the database and around 15K inactive (e.g. season articles, etc.) search is important, used very often but is also a handicap.

Do you see any possibility to preset the filter by plugin?

Best Regards

Hello Klaus,

One way to achieve this would be to perform an advanced article/ customer search and filter it by it's status e.g. Active. This will allow you to only see the articles which are currently active and you can then select your desired one from there.

Kind regards,
