File upload option in Target Group

Hi Expert,

Does anyone know, how to use the file upload option for mass account upload in Target group in C4C. I have tried but unable to do it. If any one can help me.

Ensure that this the file is CSV and UTF-8 encoded,

Make sure that your excel have the columns names( headers )as Account, Contact, Employee

Each row is a new Member so , if you are adding an account , it should also have an entry in the contact column as , only account cannot be added.

If you are adding an employee , then in a new row , enter the value against the Employee column,

If you are adding an individual customer then you can add it directly under the account. column

Now login to your C4C , system , open the target group and add the upload the same excel in the members tab and you will see the entries reflecting appropriately.

If done right , this should work 🙂

Note :

1) You can only add IDs in the template. You will encounter an error during upload if you add member names to the template.
2) Since your excel already have headers , in it , you can select the option to exclude headers while uploading
