extensions update removes changes to storefront

Hello Experts,

I'm using the financial service accelerator version 6.6.

I have an issue when I update the extensions from HAC (Toggle All), the navigation bar disappears and the logo reverts back to the original financial service accelerator default logo.

Given that nothing gets deleted (Navigation links, etc), but I have to re-add the navigation nodes and change the logo.

Do you know what might be causing this?

You created link and node via cockpit but you must have binded them to any content slot right? So when you updated extension via hac, impexes imported again and over ridden your changes. So I'll suggest you that whatever changes you are making via cockpit, make an entry for them in impex as well.

I supposes that your impex files are importing without any issues?

If that is the case, you may try to solve this issue by navigating to hac and changing the value of following to properties to be like:

catalog.sync.workers = 1 impex.import.workers = 1

After that try to execute update again and see if navigation looks as expected.

Hi Nikola,

The navigation node and link and logo weren't created using impex.

I created them manually using the cockpits and they are working fine. However, when I update the extensions, the navigation bar disappears completely and the node that I have added gets removed. I have to manually open the cms and add the node to the navigation bar, then add the logo and sync.

Any particular extension that I shouldn't select for this not to happen when I update?
