Extensibility for standard objects in Hybris Marketing

Hi experts,

I'm using offers application in Hybris Marketing to create discounts for products so I created a custom field (discount) in offer context and I need to extend this object to assign different discounts for different products under the same offer (content type, validity dates, etc).

So my question is if there is a way to do this.

Yes, we need to extend this relationship because we sudenly have different discounts for different materials but under the same offer and the same content type. for example: We have one banner for "mobile phones offer" but inside this offer we have 10% discount for cellphones of type A, 15% discount for cellphones of type B and 20% for cellphone of type C so we need this association. Then the only option is to create custom Business object with this fields and association or I can associate a custom business object to a standar object?

Hello Juan,

if I understand your requirement correctly, you need to extend the relationship between offer and products. In standard we already have to association (which product is assigned to which offer) but without any metadata.

As available extension "business contexts" I can only see "Offer Header Data" and "Offer Content Data". Unfortunately both contexts will not help to extend the relationship to model discounts for products under offers...

So I think there are two ways:

1. It would be great if you could submit this as an improvement request through the SAP Customer Influence Program for SAP Marketing Cloud.
2. As a workaround, instead of a simple custom field, you create a custom business object with an association to an offer and with an association to a product which includes the specific discount.
