Extend the length of custom fields

Dear Experts,

we have extended the length for our Custom Field "Eventname".
In the process, we received the following warning message.

Is there anything to be aware of, since the field was expanded and not shortened? Actually, this should have no effect on existing usages.

Hi Katharina,

As you have only Increased the length and also as you mentioned you have successfully extended the field , it should not have any issue with the data as such .

You can verify the change in those usages and that should have been synchronized ideally.
