Export Definition and File Transfer

Hi All,

We are on yM Cloud 1805.

Is it possible to create a CSV File out of a campagin (I asume yes) and automatically send this file via File Transfer to a Lettershop (Third Party Company)?

As I know automated File Transfer is still not possible.

Hi Oliver,

Its the export definition that you need to create of type Open Channel and that can be used in the campaigns.

However there is more to it which you can find in the below link. Hope this helps.

Hi Oliver,

You can very well create a CSV file using Export Definition in campaign actions.

It is also possible to send this file via file transfer using "Open Channel Implementation" to FTP server and then your HCI has to read this file from FTP and send it to letter shop.

thank you for the reply. Which campaign type can be used to use Open Channel? We checked all available campaign types and nothin fits really here as this would be no email campaign or trigger based campaign for example. As we checked we also are not allowed to create new campaign types. Can you give us a hint here or shal we create this campaign as an email campaign?
