Executing External Campaign in SAP Marketing

Hello Experts,

We are on to 1709SP01 version SAP Marketing OnPrem system.

One of our requirement is to integrate our SAP Marketing system to external system for campaign executions. We want to send the targer group to external system and they will be executing a campaign on behalf of us and then response for that campaign needs to be tied back to our SAP Marketing system.

I can see there is a default campaign category provided by SAP for external campaing execution and configuration is required for executing the external campaign in SAP Marketing and we need to define the endpoints as well.

For interation we are using the SAP PO/PI system.

So for the above requrirement I would like to understand how we will be creating the interfaces for communicating between the system, what details(Payload) will send send out of the SAP Marketing system to SAP PO/PI system so we execute the campaign from SAP Marketing and send the target group details out to third party system.

If someone has done any sort of integration explained above please help us with some details insight.
