Exact Search + Partial Search

Hi Experts,

We had implemented "Exact Search" in our Spartacus B2B Storefront (hybris version 2005) but the partial search is impacted and its not working.

Example. Product Code (18 digit) - 2954354591-039-0230

The free text keyword search term is "2954354591-039-0230" then we can see only one result which is correct behavior.

Now multiple product having "039" and "0230".

- If search by "039" or "0230" getting '0' records from solr.

- If search by 295435, can see so many records.

- If search by 5435, getting 0 records.

However It mainly impacted on partial search functionality. We had implemented "Free Text Query", "Free Text WildCard Query" and "Free text phase query".

Can anyone suggest what`s wrong in partial search.?

I am just suggesting to check back.

Check if any min length for free text wildcard query, because I see results coming for >= 6 length mentioned above.

I feel free text wildcard query is responsible for partial searches, apart from other free text/ phrase search since your search is a 1 word/ text only (product code).
