Event Participant Status "Invited"

Hi Experts,

with the new 2308 release it is now possible to manually create events and import event participants. That's a good feature for our customers to use it in onsite-events.

One question regarding the participant status: Does anybody know how to use the status 1001 "invited"? As I understand the integration guide the status cannot be used for Events in any status...

Hi Tobias,

the status "Invited" was defined initially (for future features) but is not used at the moment.

However it is in the documentation for the matter of completeness.

okay good to know. Thank you!

If not already on the roadmap, it would be also pretty cool to have the option to change the participant status within the app itself (without another import). But so far I like the new feature, good job 🙂

And one more thing to mention: I recognized that I had a typo in my first import regarding the first name of a participant. That typo cannot be corrected with a second import (e.g. an update of the participant status). Would be nice to have the option to overwrite that data with subsequent imports, too.
