Request clarification before answering.
This error message is prompted when the Outlook Add-In isn't able to synchronize the Appointment from C4C,
because it have a different state version from Outlook. Which means that the Appointment have received changes from both C4C and Outlook Add-In so it doesn't know which modifications should be kept or discarded.
It takes 5 minutes for C4C and Outlook Add-In to perform the Sync. So if you perform an edit action at C4C or Outlook Add-In, please wait for the sync to be done before editing at the other, in order to avoid this kind of errors.
