Error uploading Individual Customers: Position 1 of postal code XXXX must be a '0'

Dear SAP experts,

I run into the following error when trying to load clients from Panama (PA) with a four-digit Postal Code:

I have checked in C4C and the Postal Attributes are that the Postal Code Lenght is 4.

When I look at the country specific postal code formats currently supported by SAP I found the following:

Why do I get this error? In theory, the only validation is that the postal codes of Panama have 4 digits.

Hello,

As per SAP Note 1381564 , you can see that SAP expect either of the following 3 format:

So when you set the "Postal Code Check Rule" to "9 - Check against country-specific edit format" then SAP expects a '0' at the front as explained in the note.
if you donot want to follow this check then pls consider changing "Postal Code Check Rule" to any other value than "9 - Check against country-specific edit format".
