error on calculate component bom costing run

Hello experts,

We calculate by costing the price per meal at the organisation by using the product boom , where the food items are the ingredients/ components of the Bom. We have got a complaine from users that the costing valuation is higher then they expects. I checked the data , and I didn't see anything worng. I choose few expensive components and started to do simulation with the data, but not sure this is the problem.

1. Note: There is no converting in the , MTNR unit of mesures for the food component ,between kgs and

grams (1:1000).

2 I have made 2 costing version :

2.1 In one of the versions, I added to the component on field stpo-AltItemGroup 2 %

and on the amount 0.270 UKG

2.2 . In the second version I added to the product on field stpo-AltItemGroupamount with 2 %

and on the amount 0.270 kg

4. We ran for the 2 versions, costing run (pricing) for the BOM product

5. There was a difference With the price

6. There was a difference at price of approximately 5 ils (about 1.5$)

I would be glad to have ideas that can cause the too expensive costs products,

I would be glad to understand the explanation for the difference between the calculations and what is the solution for the

mistake.

there is a correction on the detales:

2 I have made 2 costing version :

2.1 In first version, spras=18 ils , I added to the component on field stpo-AltItemGroup 3%

and on the amount 270 grams

2.2. In the second version, spras=18 ils, I added to the component on field stpo-AltItemGroup

3% and on the amount 0.270 kg

we got 2 different results.

Another issue, we use the field to save count of day the component will appear at year, and on save we calculate the percent of days and save on field EWAHR, I try to delete the data from all components of the three from SORTF , and the value of costing changed from 18 to 5.11 ils .

There are some issue to understand, how realy the costing work.
