Why this type of error: Multiple relations found for person 1407098 (SAP_C4C_BUPA). Processing rejected?

I would understand that it is because of the master data, but I wanted to know what originates it and of course an idea of how to solve it.

SAP pointed out to me that the possible cause of the error message: "Multiple Relationships Found for Person 14XXXXX (SAP_C4C_BUPA).

Processing Rejected. By debugging the import process, we could see that the key of the relationship company FA163E6XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX for this contact has two, SAP_C4C_BUPA ID's (1000XXXXXX and 140XXXX) ".

After several revisions and escalations in SAP, we could see that it was a product problem, so much so that the developers had to step in and include a fix in the next version of SMC.

The problem is that Contact A (goes with his first and last name plus ID XX) is sent from C4C to SMC.

When it arrives at SMC it is rejected because the Account to which it is directed (for some reason) already has a contact assigned with the ID XX but with data as anonymous, because it is the same ID it rejects it
