We have a problem with the dispatch of the Marketing area.

When making a first shipment of a customer from C4C to the customer, an MKT area is assigned, but if the value is changed to the field of the sales organization, which is the one that makes the assignment of the marketing area from C4C, the error is generated:

The marketing area 'DT1001' for the source ID of the SAP_MKT_BUPA-0001000054 entry is not defined or is inactive.

It is taken into account that for this, a badi was also activated that allows the customer to be assigned a data in the sales organization attribute assigned to the marketing area.

We can notice that the error occurs when the account has a contact, we are not sure

Hi,

Which BADI did you implement? Is it the one from the "Marketing: Business Partner Mapping" context or from "Marketing: Contact and Corporate Account"?

My primary suspect would be that you are missing implementation of BADI CUAN_BUPA_MAP_MKT_AREA of context "Marketing: Business Partner Mapping" due to which even before relevant IC is found for the updation there is an error.
